Think it was the Premier league the other day that was talking about owners having to sign some sort of declaration that they wouldnt go all Super Leaguey again
Struck me as clearing the ground to not punish them at all for the current breaking of Premier league rules by negotiating to play in other leagues.
The breach is clear and blatant and has obviously been worked on for months if not years.

The voices of anyone outside these teams calling for the rules to be enforced are pretty much marginalised.
On Sunday we saw the whole Sky panel wringing their hands about the big distraction of the Glazers (booo!)
Souness (Liverpool) Keane (Man U) Richards (Man C), Carragher (Liverpool) & G Neville (Man U)
Am sure others like J Redknapp (Liverpool, Spurs) & Keown (Arsenal), Ferdinand (Man U), Lescott (Man City) etc etc will pop up elsewhere to keep the discussion on track

Yeah we get that Man utd fans aren't happy, like a lot more, but they need to get real .They are currently valued at 4 billion, despite their debt, so who is going to come up with that sort money in the current climate.

The media calls the tune and the Premier League react depending on which way the wind is blowing.

There has been no media clamour for a massive fine and points deduction, so they will just hope that everyone eventually forgets.

As they say in their song "we're Man Utd, we do what we want" and they're right as The FA or Premier League will do fuck all in comparison. We got a £100k fine for our protest which didn't cause a game to be abandoned, have a police office slashed or breaking and entering.

I expect a 50K fine, and a further 50K suspended for 1 year or some other similar bollocks.

Wouldn’t be surprised if the premier league awarded the 3 pts to the scousers. It would make it more likely they will get they’re preferred top 5-6 teams, apart from Leicester.

Heard some fans complaining that nothing has been done to the ground it self as in the same stairs same surroundings for years .

Give me walking up to the old ground with my grandson along side then up the same steps I walked up for years to the view the pitch I be very happy .

Re: Well Done Man U fans Great Protest!
Christ is anyone surprised here ,most Premier Leaguue owners, with a few exceptions are out to money, our 2 included, but of course on a much lesser scale than Man utd.
This is not just about the ESL albeit the opposition was universal.
I spoke to a Man Utd fan ,yes from Manchester, a few seasons back and he dismissed the yellow and green brigade as deluded dopes,.However. more people are now realising that Man Utd dominating football is in the past when looking at the noisey neighbours across the road being so successfull with money to burn and no debts things seem to be gathering momentum.
Owners like those at City dont come along very often so I'm not sure where this will all end.

Plenty of time to reschedule. It’s actually a game for which there’ll be a massive audience

Zero chance as Gilmore says.

A real chance to call the PL’s and the media bias bluff if we were to do a copycat protest.....

Anyone can pass the fit and proper persons test . The dwarf was jailed for living off immoral earnings and he passed it lol . As others have said the difference in the reporting of this compared to the protests at ours is absolutely astounding. But fully expected the media by and large have it in for whufc supporters big time.

The Premier League have issued a statement this morning to say that Manchester United should expect to receive a penalty for the events leading to the postponent of the game.

Manchester have responded that Bruno Fernandez will take it.......

I think history is an odd thing. Each persons history is different to the next so there’s no “one history”. All mega stadiums are pretty shit to be honest. Corporatising them makes them even shitter. I’m not defending the move at all its all been said a thousand times. We are talking about scales of monetising and corporatising Football.
